Kids of all ages gathered at Reading Memorial High School for ProCamps with Julian Edelman, a two-day football clinic presented by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern New England. The Patriots star wide receiver helped put attendees through a variety of drills and scrimmages while teaching the importance of hard work, determination and leadership. Along with his advice, Edelman gave each camper an autograph and a Julian Edelman Football Clinic tee shirt. He also posed for a picture with each team. After the campers finished their drills and ran the “Smokehouse Challenge” to determine the fastest attendee, McDonald’s donated burgers and apple slices so everyone could enjoy a delicious lunch!
Julian Edelman wasn’t the only star in attendance, as Ronald McDonald rode his unicycle onto the field juggling bowling pins, wowing campers and Patriots stars alike! The campers were delighted to see Ronald and invited him to play in their scrimmages where Ronald hauled in a few catches. He spent the day entertaining the crowd with a variety of dances and juggling demonstrations. Ronald even taught Edelman how to ride the unicycle!
